The sun was shining brightly over the boy and girl walking down by the lake. Annely felt her hand go sweaty in the heat and of course Mark was holding it. She flushed bright red as she thought of her boyfriend. It was their 2 month anniversary and they had devided to spend it at the lake, on a peaceful picnic.
The birds were singing blissfully and the water shined bright as they continued their way back to their set up blanket with delicious sweets on it.
"What do you think would happen if we lost each other?" Mark suddenly blurted out the question. Annely looked at him in shock. 'Why was he asking that? Is he breaking up with me?' Annely thought sadly.
"I'm not gonna break up with you, don't worry. I'd never live through that! I just want to hear what you think about it.." he trailed off with a small smile.
"If we lost each other, I'm sure I'd lose myself," Annely admitted with the red brushing her cheeks again. Mark smiled down at her and kissed her forehead. He wasn't demanding or rough. A gentleman, just as Annely loved.
"You do know I love you right?" He asked, slightly gripping her hand, like afraid to lose her.
"I know that," she smiled. "But I am curious about something..."
"What's that?"
"How many girlfriends did you have before me?" She asked in a whisper, afraid what his reaction might be. He, to her surprise, laughed and sat down on the blanket they had made it to.
"I've had zero girlfriends before you. Althought, when I was about 13, I met a girl on a chat room. We started talking on email but I suddenly stopped responding. I was afraid of what would happen when I continued responding," he admitted.
"What chatroom?" Annely asked shakily. She had also been at a chatroom at the age of 13.
"Guitarz something. I don't remember," he shrugged wondering why his girlfriend was so interested in this.
"Bizarre Guitarz," she whispered. Mark looked at her with wide eyes.
"How do you know that?" He asked, scooting closer.
"I think you talked to me. I also chatted with a guy at the age of 13 and he stopped responding," she giggled.
"Seriously?" He exclaimed happily.
"I never did understand why the chatroom was called 'Bizarre Guitarz," Annely exclaimed, laughing at the same time.
They both couldn't help but think 'Maybe this was meant to be."
