Fairytale PART 2/2

*2 days later*

"Desire!" Damon growled as he leaned against the wall.
"Yes?" Desire asked, walking out of her room.
"What did you do to my room?" he growled. His voice was harsh and sudden and everything that Desire didn't like.
"I-I cleaned i-it," she stuttered out. Oh, how elegant, Des! She thought sarcastically.
"Why?! It was clean!" Damon sighed, lowering his tone. It hurt his head, which still had it's woond.
"Really? You know what I found under that pile of junk? A FLOOR," Desire said sassily.
"I knew that was there," Damon huffed.
"You probably didn't," she rolled her eyes. Her mind was telling her that she was pushing it but her heart told her to do so. After all, what has she got to live for anyways?
"You really should watch what leaves your mouth! Something might happen," Damon growled. Desire watched his eyes turn black with a hint of glow and that scared her.
"Not like this is bad enough," she muttered and walked back to her room. She threw herself onto the bed and curled up in a ball. She had nothing to do and it was such a big place. With only the 2 of them here, it got lonely and the guy didn't even have maids or workers. You thought when you own a big place like he does, he'd have some but no. No wonder his room is all messy Desire thought. I just want to go home...
Desire lived with only her father. She didn't have any brothers nor sisters and her mom died when she was little. Father didn't talk about her so often.
At the same time as Desire wondered what her father must be doing, Damon was pacing around in his room.
"She is the one. You can feel it. Why are you denying it?" the girl in black spoke. She jumped up from her seat on the wall and walked to him. And I do mean, she was sitting ON THE WALL.
"Shut up, Lena. I need to think," he growled quietly so Desire wouldn't hear them.
"Ohh dear brother, why wouldn't you just let me go and talk to the poor girl? Ya know she is missing her home. Might as well tell her why she was taken from it," Lena spoke with a knowing look. Yes they were brother and sister but she rarely showed up. Damon didn't want her anywhere near Desire since he thinks Lena is far to generous and might give the girl some wrong assumptions. Like that she would get home soon enough. Noppe. If this is true then Desire will stay for a fairly long time.
"You won't! I don't want you anywhere near her, Lena," he growled. Lena flinched back but smirked knowing she had hit his weak spot.
"She needs a frie-end," she spoke in a sing-song tone. Damon gave her an almost deadly glare and Lena backed away, her hands held high. "Fine, fine!"
"I need to try out the marking..." Damon trailed off and Lena nodded knowingly.
"That's how I found out about Carter," she nodded.
"Shut up," he growled. Lena sighed and gave up. She took her position at the wall again and just watched as his brother paced around in his room. He went to the drawer and took out a silvery dagger.
"You do know, she'll die if this is wrong, right?" Lena spoke nervously.
"I know.." he trailed off and walked out of his room. He went behind Desire's door where he could hear small sniffles. He sighed sadly, knowing that this is risky and might end her life for good. He pulled every emotion out of his muscles and pushed the door open. Desire sat up rather quickly and looked at him. Then she spotted the knife and chills started running up her spine. Is he gonna kill me? was the thought that rang through her head multiple times in that little half a minute that he approached her.
"I'll talk to you after this, alright? I promise," he spoke gently. Desire was surprised by his tone but didn't stop shaking. Damon's eyes turned black as he hovered over her.
"What are you?" Desire croaked out.
"A demon," Damon spoke like it was nothing, at the same time, lifting her shirt from her stomach. Desire stared at him with wide eyes and watched his every move carefully. "This is gonna sting you only a little bit..."
He pushed the blade against her skin, starting to draw squiggly lines that seemed to matter so much to him but so little to Desire. She let out a cry of pain and started to fade away.
"Please, no..." were her last words before she passed away into a dream land. Lena walked in eating a bowl of ice cream and sat on the wall, opposite of his brother.
"Now we gotta wait.." she said and took a big spoonfull of ice cream into her mouth.
"Can you please not be a pig???" Damon sighed.
"I'm not a pig!" she called out, her mouth dripping of the sweet white dessert.
They waited for about an hour and Damon grew impatient. "I think she's dead. She's not the one," he stated sadly. Just then the cut on Desire's chest started to glow darkly before it healed, leaving only a small marking left.
"She is," Lena grinned happily. Desire drew a sharp breath and shot up sitting. She looked around frantically and backed away against the bed frame. Damon sighed with relief and looked at Desire from under his bangs.
"I can talk now," he stated quietly.
"W-who is s-she?" She asked nodding towards Lena.
"My sister.. Leave, Lena, please?" Lena nodded and walked out.
"W-what did you do?" she asked next.
"I marked you. Every demon has a soulmate and when they think they have found theirs, they mark them. If the live, then the person is truly their soulmate. If not... Well you get it," he explained. He moved closer to Desire so they were only a few inches away.
"So... I'm.. We're.." she trailed off, unable to find her words.
"I'm yours and you're mine," he smiled and leaned in, closing the cap with a sweet kiss....
